- Fennel's Morning Map | Time Tamers Book 1 by Dr. Monti
- Fennel the fox follows his Morning Map: brush, dress, eat, pack. A gentle picture book about morning routines and waiting for play time.
Curtain glow, a stretch, a yawn, and a brand new day. Fennel the fox has a Morning Map on his wall with four little pictures in a row: a toothbrush, a shirt, a bowl and a bag. He flips his sand timer and gets going, one step at a time, placing a star after each job with a happy "Check!"
When his toys call to him before the map is done, Fennel finds something brave inside: "Waiting is hard. Play comes after my map."
Words to say together: "First, Next, Then, Last." "We can wait."
Try at home: Draw your own morning in four boxes. Four steps is plenty.

A Montessori Baking Story
- Bumble and the Cookie Countdown | Time Tamers Book 2
- Bumble the bear bakes honey cookies, then waits for the oven and for them to cool. A cozy picture book about patience and sharing.
Bumble the bear ties on his little apron. Today he is baking honey cookies. He lines everything up left to right, because first we plan and then we bake. Scoop, pour, stir, press, and into the oven they go.
Then comes the hard part. Bumble's tummy rumbles and he reaches for the oven door. He stops. "Waiting is hard," he says. "We can wait." While the cookies bake and cool, he plays I Spy, tidies three things and sets the table for a friend.
Words to say together: "We can wait."
Try at home: Next time you bake, name one thing to do while the timer runs.
